TABLETOP ART SHOW SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

MISSION: To bring Art to the people!

To encourage, promote and exhibit the work of WNY Artists using a unique and innovative idea to create an avenue for our communities to view visual Art made by local artists in a casual, non-intimidating manner. The visual art show is printed and displayed on placemats used by restaurants throughout the WNY region, and an in-person exhibit is displayed inside a trendy and busy brewery. The TableTop Art Show provides local artists with unconventional exposure as many of our citizens have yet to visit an art gallery or attend an art opening to view, experience, and appreciate Art created by local talent in their community! The number of local businesses/restaurants and bars that participate is a testament to the demand and merit of this program to bring arts & culture to the people. Furthermore, the opening night and awards ceremony draws hundreds of community members with the opportunity for the public to meet and mingle with the artists while giving them a venue to network, promote, and (potentially) sell their work!

ELIGIBILITY: The TABLETOP ART SHOW is open to ANY AND EVERY Artist residing within the WNY Region. No age limit, and Artists from all disciplines who work in all types of mediums (2-D & 3-D) are encouraged to submit! Including but not limited to: painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, printmaking, digital/new media, photography, sculpture, fiber arts, glass, pottery, metal, and woodwork. Only original works of Art (preferably completed within the last two years) will be accepted.

REQUIREMENTS: All work to be hung must be equipped with proper hanging wire and securely fastened and positioned so that the Art does not lean out from the wall.

*There are no size restrictions on the Artwork itself

*Please provide display stands/materials for jewelry pieces.

SUBMISSION & FEES: Each Artist can submit up to 3 pieces each. There is NO FEE to participate in THE TABLETOP ART SHOW.

All Artwork will be submitted using our online submission form and then emailing your photos to TableTopArtShow@gmail.com.

Please include your name, the TITLE of the work, price if it is for sale, + the medium for EACH piece submitted.

By submitting Artwork, the artist agrees to allow TABLETOP ART SHOW the rights to use their images for promotional purposes. Everybody is encouraged to publicize the Show; the more community members and potential buyers that attend the Opening Ceremony and the month-long exhibition are advantageous to all. TABLETOP ART SHOW will forward press releases to our local media contacts.

JURYING: Art submitted will be juried by a yearly appointed committee member(s). The decision of the committee is final. The committee will email the 15 selected artists with instructions on artwork delivery. The month-long Show at Eli Fish Brewing Co. in downtown Batavia will house the Artwork. All 15 Winners' Artwork will also be printed on thousands of placemats to be distributed and utilized at many local WNY restaurants and bars. The Top 3 winners, including 1 Grand Prize Winner, will be announced at the Opening Awards Ceremony Event, held at Eli Fish on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024. The TableTop Art Show committee will promote the selected artists and award cash prizes during the Opening Reception. The Grand Prize Winner's Artwork will also be printed on thousands of cardboard coasters to be distributed and utilized at local WNY restaurants and bars to advertise the following year's Show. In addition, during the Opening Ceremony and Awards Event, attendees will be invited to vote on their favorite piece, which will receive the "Peoples' Choice Award."

Eli Fish Brewing Co. is insured for public liability and will take reasonable care with displayed Artwork within the restaurant. Neither Eli Fish Brewing Co. nor TableTop Art Show will not be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged pieces.
